BLEND collective brings together a team of this country’s finest aromatherapy and perfume experts from around the UK. Their combined passion, understanding and flair has enabled us to create what we believe to be the finest range of ‘truly natural’ body care products on the market today.

Alec Lawless

As a trained Jungian psychotherapist and with more than 20 years experience in the perfume industry, Alec’s ability to produce fragrances that are both complex and evocative led him to develop a luxury range of natural perfumes which contain the highest quality ingredients, blended to create scents that are individual, delicate and multi-faceted.

Alec’s internationally acclaimed perfumery workshops introduced many people to the fascinating history of perfume and the complex art of blending, paying particular attention to the combination of different notes to create unique and evocative scents. His book ‘Artisan Perfumery or Being Led by the Nose’ is both informative and intriguing. Alec and Julia Lawless have built up a successful business selling high quality essential oils sourced during many trips around the world, in search of the best possible suppliers.

Emma Nash

Emma is an established essential oil expert whose quest to expand her knowledge on new natural ingredients takes her all over the world, visiting producers to ensure sustainability and ethical trading. Not only has she been supplying natural and organic ingredients to the skincare industry for over 15 years, she is also a skilled fragrance and skincare formulator.

Emma believes that smell, more than any other sense, is intimately linked to the parts of the brain that process emotion and associative learning. Smell and memory are inextricably connected – a scent can immediately take you back to a previous experience, often from infancy and childhood. Particularly fascinated by the wealth of natural ingredients available that offer a safe alternative to chemicals, Emma has also formulated her own range of organic baby spa and skincare products that combine aromatherapy principles with high quality, nourishing ingredients.

Glenda Taylor

When her career as a ballet dancer ended, Glenda decided to focus on her other interest – holistic therapy – and after much training, became an accomplished reflexologist, aromatherapist and perfumer. To share her knowledge and passion, she has written two books about how easily aromatherapy can be used in our daily lives.

Today, she runs a natural and organic skincare brand as well as a luxury fragrance business, which produces ready-to-wear and bespoke perfumes. Voted by Vogue magazine as one of the UK’s leading aromatherapists, Glenda has a stellar reputation in the fragrance and beauty industry. Renowned perfumer Roja Dove praised Glenda’s natural Angel Water perfume for its complexity and sophistication, and listed it as one of his five all-time favourite fragrances.
